The calendar day runs from your start on day one to your return on the last day; each day in between counts toward the minimum. If your actual running exceeds the minimum, you pay for actual km instead.

Driver bata is the driver's daily allowance for food and stay — ₹600 per day for tempo travellers and ₹800–₹900 per day for Urbania vans.

It covers the driver's day up to a standard driving window; night driving between 10 PM and 6 AM attracts an additional bata. It is charged per vehicle, not per passenger.
